David Frost assistant professor of business at George Williams College said "What’s happening in water research and business development is very exciting. “Wisconsin is currently investing $240 million to fund academic facilities programs and research including the establishment of the UWM School of Freshwater Sciences. This means incredible growth and job opportunities for our area.” He added that Wisconsin is positioned to become a major global center for water business and education. Along with the main attraction there is a hamburgers hot dogs soda and snacks available. There is a children’s play area set up by Life of the Party and for the adults there is live music starting at noon with 3 different bands playing until 11:30. This year Most Wanted starts the event out at noon with South of Disorder taking over at 3:00. At 7:00 Mr. Meyers takes the stage and will bring us to a final song at 11:30. While enjoying the fine food entertainment and location there will be beer and wine coolers.

“Sweet Baby James ” a James Taylor tribute will be presented on Saturday Aug. 15 at 7:30 p.m. The “Sweet Baby James” tribute concert closing the Main Stage Series is a retrospective of the great songs of the incomparable James Taylor sung by New York artist Bob Stillman. The Tony nominated actor composer pianist and singer will pair with Connie James in a program including many of Taylor ’s greatest hits. The likeness to Taylor in looks and voice in songs such as “Sweet Baby James ” “Fire and Rain ” “Handy Man ” “Mexico ” “You’ve Got a Friend ” and others will take you back to the times places and memories of the 60s and 70s. The “easy on the ears” nostalgic songs in this tribute will close out the summer with style.

The 20th annual Lake Geneva Triathlon Series will be held in the small lakeside town of Fontana WI which lies on the western shore of Geneva Lake. Geneva Lake is 9 miles long 170 feet deep spring fed and clear. The scenic views and unbelievable hills provide the ingredients for a very memorable race. For 2009 the Lake Geneva Triathlon Series consists of a Half Extreme Olympic Sprint and SuperSprint distances. All events are open to individuals and 2 or 3 person relay teams. The course starts with a swim at Fontana Beach (Reid Park) in Fontana. It is followed by an out and back bike course on rural roads and culminates with a challenging run route that includes the infamous "Killer Hill" and beautiful tree lined streets.
